A cantora e compositora potiguar Daniela Fernandes levará o espetáculo ‘Ressalto’ para o público paulista nesta quinta (13), no Sesc 24 de Maio, em São Paulo. O show marca um importante salto na trajetória da artista, impulsiona sua presença na nova cena da Música Popular Brasileira e reafirma a força da música autoral do Rio Grande do Norte em um dos principais palcos culturais do país. Os ingressos já estão disponíveis no site www.sescsp.com.br.
Lançado em 2023, o EP ‘Ressalto’ apresenta um repertório refinado, composto por quatro faixas autorais em parceria com compositores locais e nacionais, além de uma regravação especial do cantor e compositor Djavan. O trabalho reflete a sensibilidade musical de Daniela Fernandes, unindo influências da MPB e do jazz em arranjos sofisticados e interpretações marcantes.
A chegada do espetáculo Ressalto no Centro Histórico de São Paulo é fruto da parceria entre o Sesc SP e o Sesc RN, com apoio do Sebrae RN, e reforça o compromisso da instituição em fomentar novos talentos e promover a diversidade da MPB.
Em apresentação única na capital paulistana, Daniela dará voz ao EP em um formato especial, com a participação de músicos renomados, como Ricardo Baya (direção musical, violão, guitarra e vocais), Mônica Michelly (contrabaixo), Darlan Marley (bateria), Paulo César Vitor (piano/teclado), Bruno Cirino (acordeon), Diego Paixão (cello) e Jane Eyre (sax, flauta e clarinete). Além das composições autorais, o repertório também conta com releituras de composições de Djavan, Geraldo Azevedo, Dominguinhos, Cátia de França e Rita Lee.
“Por mais que todo artista queira ver sua carreira se expandindo e cruzando fronteiras, a gente não faz ideia dos caminhos – geográficos e emocionais – que o nosso trabalho percorrerá depois de ser lançado. Diante dos desafios de ser artista independente no Brasil, cantar em São Paulo estava no campo dos meus sonhos mais distantes. Já me sinto feliz e extremamente emocionada pela oportunidade de fazer um show que marca um momento tão significativo da minha trajetória até aqui”, comenta Daniela.
Sobre Daniela Fernandes
Nascida em Natal/RN, Daniela Fernandes iniciou sua trajetória musical em 2015. Formada em canto popular pela Escola de Música da UFRN, ganhou projeção na cena potiguar ao integrar o Projeto Cultural Ribeira Boêmia, onde atuou por cinco anos e esteve ao lado de grandes nomes da MPB, como Roberta Sá, João Cavalcanti, Teresa Cristina e Diogo Nogueira. Em 2017, foi contratada como vocalista da Sesi Big Band, ampliando sua pesquisa sobre a música brasileira e o jazz.
Em 2021, Daniela deu início à sua carreira solo com o lançamento do single “Canção de Oferenda”. Em 2023, consolidou essa nova fase com o EP ‘Ressalto’, trazendo um repertório autoral e aprofundando seu olhar sobre a identidade musical potiguar. Agora, a cantora e compositora chega a São Paulo para reafirmar seu talento e compromisso com a valorização da música autoral brasileira.
