A Academia Norte-rio-grandense de Letras lançou edital para preencher vaga deixada pelo saudoso escritor e pesquisador Lenine Pinto, falecido no último 23 de junho.
Lenine ocupava a cadeira nº 34 da ANL, cujo patrono é o político angicano José da Penha, e o primeiro sucessor, o juiz Alvamar Furtado.
O edital foi publicado ontem e está válido por 60 dias. Candidatos devem fazer seus requerimentos de inscrição apresentando currículo e exemplares de suas obras publicadas em forma de livro individual. O material será remetido à Comissão de Inscrição e Ética da ANL.
Neste post AQUI, que escrevi em dezembro de 2017, sugeri 40 nomes para substituir o poeta Sanderson Negreiros, expondo minha preferência pelo pesquisador, escritor e músico Cláudio Galvão.
Passados quase dois anos, mantenho minha opinião. Cláudio Galvão merece tapete vermelho em qualquer instituição cultural ou acadêmica deste Estado.
Mas soube depois que houve uma rusga entre ele e o atual presidente da ANL, Diógenes da Cunha Lima. Coisa besta ocorrida lá pelos anos 60, que já deveria ter sido evaporada pela madureza do tempo e sabedoria da idade.
Gostaria de poder indicar uma mulher diante da enorme prevalência de homens na ANL, embora tenha demonstrado nos últimos anos uma abertura moderna aos nomes femininos. Mas Cláudio já conta idade avançada e merece esse reconhecimento para ontem.
Ruben G Nunes seria outro potencial nome, sendo o maior vencedor de concursos literários na história deste Estado, um intelectual de conhecimento filosófico raro, com livros de romances, crônicas, contos e poesias publicados.
De qualquer forma, replico aqui mais uma leva de nomes aptos, ao meu ver, para a vaga. Uma Academia paralela de Letras, com o mesmo número de “imortais”:
