O Movimento Cultural Alternativo Goto Seco chega aos seus 20 anos celebrando força e resistência. Independente, sem fins lucrativos e sem vínculo partidário ou comercial, o coletivo formado por artistas, fazedores de cultura, pesquisadores e ativistas celebra duas décadas em 2024 com seu Festival Multicultural Goto Seco, neste sábado (9) no Cynara Music em Ceará-Mirim.
O movimento realiza projetos culturais nas áreas da literatura, audiovisual, educação e meio ambiente, contemplado em editais do SESC, nas leis Aldir Blanc e Paulo Gustavo, além de várias iniciativas realizadas com esforço coletivo e parcerias. Dentre os projetos realizados estão: publicação de antologias poéticas, tributo a Bob Marley, produções audiovisuais, eventos multiartísticos, sessões de cinema, trilhas, zines, oficinas e projetos socioambientais e Festivais.
O Goto Seco conquistou o Prêmio Ponto de Leitura em 2023, por seu trabalho de incentivo à Leitura e Biblioteca Comunitária, e em 2024 recebe o certificado de Ponto de Cultura pelo MinC.
Neste ano, o Festival Goto Seco trás para celebrar seu aniversário uma diversidade de atrações: Erivan Seixas e Banda, o compositor Yrahn Barreto, o grupo Catemba da Maroca, MPClass, Quinteto do Sol, Euphoria, Reggae Da Folha; Intervenção teatral com o ator Cresio Torres, Danças populares, Capoeira e sarau poético. Ao longo do evento teremos exposição de artes plásticas, artesanato, sebo e lançamento de livros de autores potiguares.
Com o objetivo de difundir conhecimentos, culturas e artes, o Goto Seco contabiliza em sua trajetória de 20 anos um público de aproximadamente 6 mil pessoas em suas atividades e mais de 800 artistas participantes.
