Evento em celebração ao Dia Mundial do Teatro de Bonecos propõe uma reflexão sobre a manifestação
O teatro do João Redondo potiguar vai ocupar as redes sociais a partir deste sábado (20). Motivos não faltam: além de celebrar o Dia Mundial do Teatro de Bonecos – comemorado no domingo –, a proposta também busca revisitar a história e pensar sobre o futuro da manifestação, que é registrada como Patrimônio Imaterial desde 2015.
A iniciativa é do bonequeiro potiguar Julhin de Tia Lica, em parceria com o com o Instituto Nacional do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (Iphan) e Museu Câmara Cascudo (MCC).
Serão dois encontros em formato de lives, o primeiro marcado para o sábado (20), às 16h, nas páginas do MCC no Youtube e Facebook. O segundo encontro, marcado para o dia 29 de março, às 19h, será transmitido pelo canal oficial do Iphan no Youtube.
Primeiro encontro
No sábado (20), o professor Everardo Ramos, diretor do MCC, recebe o Julhin de Tia Lica, além do professor André Carrico, do Departamento de Artes da UFRN e pós-doutor em Artes da Cena pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp).
Também participa da conversa, a educadora popular e bonequeira Catarina Medeiros, também conhecida como Catarina Calungueira. A artista é autora de um catálogo de brincantes do Seridó, organizou o 1º Festival de Mulheres Bonequeiras – que aconteceu de forma virtual em 2020 -, além de ter dirigido o curta “Ipueira também é terra de bonequeiras”.
“A ideia é focar nos mestres antigos, na história, nos fundamentos. É mostrar ao público o que é o Teatro de Bonecos, o Teatro do João Redondo e a importância dele para a cultura popular”, conta Julhin, que vai aproveitar o momento para lançar o documentário “João Redondo: Passado, presente e futuro” em seu canal do youtube.
Segundo encontro
O segundo encontro, marcado para o dia 29 de março, pretende falar do futuro do Teatro de Bonecos e vai contar com a participação de Cláudio Machado, superintendente do IPHAN aqui no Estado, que recebe Tassos Lycurgo, Diretor do Departamento de Patrimônio Imaterial, além dos bonequeiros Alisson Costa e do próprio Julhin de Tia Lica.
Durante os dois encontros, os participantes poderão assistir, em primeira mão, a trechos do documentário, com depoimentos dos mestres bonequeiros em atividade no Rio Grande do Norte. O filme está em fase de finalização e recebeu apoio da Lei Aldir Blanc de emergência cultural.
