A Prefeitura do Natal, por intermédio da Funcarte, publicou o edital Concursos Literários Othoniel Menezes (poesia), Câmara Cascudo (folclore) e Moacy Cirne (ficção). Serão selecionados seis textos literários, sendo dois para cada categoria. Ao todo serão distribuídos R$ 51 mil reais em prêmios.
CRITÉRIOS
Cada proponente poderá concorrer a uma única categoria. É vedada a participação de órgãos públicos e fundações privadas. Ficam impedidos de concorrer os proponentes vencedores da última edição dos concursos Othoniel Menezes e Câmara Cascudo.
A obra inscrita precisa ser inédita e em língua portuguesa, e deverá conter entre 50 e 100 páginas, caso seja livro de poesia; entre 100 e 200 páginas, caso seja livro de ensaio folclórico; e entre 100 e 200 páginas caso seja livro de ensaio de ficção.
As obras participantes em qualquer uma das três categorias deverão ser literárias. Serão eliminados trabalhos de natureza estritamente acadêmica ou de cunho científico como monografias, dissertação, teses, comunicações e assemelhados.
PREMIAÇÃO
Para todas as três categorias, o 1º colocado será beneficiado com o prêmio no valor de R$ 12 mil. Ao segundo colocado será atribuído o prêmio no valor de R$ 5 mil.
Os valores referentes à premiação, incidirão em menos vinte por cento de impostos, conforme prevê a SOLUÇÃO DE DIVERGÊNCIA N° 9, DE 16 DE JULHO DE 2012 – DOU de 29/8/201.
INSCRIÇÕES
Podem se inscrever pessoas físicas maiores de 18 anos, residentes e domiciliados em Natal e região metropolitana e que se dediquem às atividades literárias nesta cidade. Não serão aceitas inscrições de obras de autores falecidos.
As inscrições são gratuitas e o prazo final é até 23 de novembro de 2018. O envelope de Inscrição deverá ser entregue na Biblioteca Municipal Esmerado Siqueira da Funcarte, no horário de 9h às 13h, e serão realizadas pessoalmente através de formulários e anexos disponíveis na página eletrônica da Prefeitura do Natal (AQUI) e no Blog da Funcarte (AQUI).
COMISSÃO JULGADORA
A Comissão Gestora será composta por três técnicos designados pelo Presidente da Funcarte, para avaliar os critérios jurídicos dos projetos. E a Comissão de Habilitação e Seleção Técnica será composta de nove membros técnicos, sendo todos especialistas de renomada atuação na área literária, de reputação ilibada, também designados pelo presidente da Funcarte.
Os critérios de avaliação seguirão os seguintes parâmetros:
a) Estilo – de 0 a 15 pontos;
b) Clareza – de 0 a 10 pontos;
c) Correção – de 0 a 10 pontos;
d) Precisão – de 0 a 10 pontos;
e) Harmonia – de 0 a 15 pontos;
f) Originalidade – de 0 a 15 pontos;
