Uma das companhias mais importantes do cenário teatral brasileiro, o Grupo Galpão completa 35 anos de trajetória em 2017. Depois de passar por Rio de Janeiro (RJ) e Fortaleza (CE), a cidade de Natal recebe a turnê especial de aniversário, de 7 a 9 de setembro, com apresentação dos espetáculos mais recentes da companhia, que ainda não haviam passado pela cidade.
A montagem de ‘Nós’ fica em cartaz quinta e sexta-feira, no Cine-teatro Municipal de Parnamirim. E o sarau do Grupo Galpão, o espetáculo ‘De Tempo Somos’ tem apresentação gratuita no sábado, na Praça da Árvore de Mirassol. Até o fim do ano, o Galpão passará por João Pessoa (PB), Aracaju (SE), São Paulo (SP), interior de Minas Gerais e Brasília (DF).
Ainda dentro das comemorações dos 35 anos, o Galpão apresenta o disco do espetáculo De Tempo Somos. O álbum, quinto lançamento do grupo, tem produção musical de Chico Neves e direção e arranjos de Luiz Rocha. No repertório, canções que marcaram a história do Galpão – tanto nos bastidores e ensaios, como nos palcos –, como é o caso das faixas ‘Flor, minha flor’, de Romeu e Julieta (1992) e ‘Canção dos atores’, de Um Molière Imaginário (1997). O disco estará à venda em todas as apresentações e também na loja online do grupo.
SOBRE O GRUPO GALPÃO
Criado em 1982, o Grupo Galpão tem sua origem ligada à tradição do teatro popular e de rua. Desenvolve um teatro que alia rigor, pesquisa e busca de linguagem, com montagem de peças que possuem grande poder de comunicação com o público.

O espetáculo, que estreou em 2016, tem direção de Marcio Abreu. Enquanto preparam a última sopa, sete pessoas partilham angústias, algumas esperanças e muitos nós.
A 23º montagem do Grupo Galpão debate questões atuais, como violência, intolerância e convivência com a diferença, tudo isso a partir de uma dimensão política.
No espetáculo, a plateia é convidada a presenciar situações de opressão e de convívio com a diferença, provocadas pelas relações de proximidade entre artista e espectador, ator e personagem, cena e plateia, público e privado, realidade e ficção.
A mais recente montagem do Galpão foi gerada a partir de um mergulho radical na experiência do grupo, que completa 35 anos em 2017.

Com direção das atrizes do Galpão, Lydia Del Picchia e Simone Ordones, o espetáculo traduz um antigo projeto do grupo de celebrar o encontro da música com o teatro, parceria que se tornou marca do Galpão em seus 35 anos de história.
O trabalho reúne textos sobre a passagem do tempo e o processo de criação artística, além de 25 canções do repertório musical do grupo – de montagens antigas até trabalhos mais recentes – incluindo músicas de workshops internos que chegam a público pela primeira vez. O espetáculo resultou ainda em um CD de mesmo nome produzido por Chico Neves.
